Add rice and dry fruits in it:

Cover and put on dum:

Perfectly cooked on dam and sheera is dried after 20 mins:

Tips: 1: The quality of your gur will largely determine the results of your end product. 2. I have used sela rice but you can use basmati rice too. 3: You could also add your choice of dry fruits to the rice and then lightly garnish it with the remaining dry fruits like I did. Some people add peanuts too. roast peanuts and then add. 4: Boil gurr in water till it has melted. Taste this water to make sure it tastes sweet enough for the amount of rice. Different brands of gur can have different amounts of sweetness in it. you can increase the quantity of Gur. 5: Use a malmal cloth to sieve the sheera. You will see some sand and impurities.
